Temporary / Permanence: The videos invite the viewers to experience uncertainty in real time. Every time the white color is poured, it produces unpredictable ephemeral outcomes. The painting, on the other hand, is a composite of multiple still shots of the videos at different time intervals. Unlike the ephemeral quality of the video, the painting compresses time into a single unchanging stillness. Both the painting and the videos utilized a hylomorphic composition in which one-half of the work can revolving around the other half to complete a circle at a time. In total, the work can be displayed in eight different ways.
